    The purpose of the Reach Out and Connect program is to improve the health awareness of residents of Van Buren and Searcy counties.  Through health screening events at Van Buren and Searcy county churches, community centers, schools, and health advocacy events, Ozark Mountain Health Network (OMHN) provides free health screenings to test cholesterol, glucose, and blood pressure levels.  This program has been an innovative program that our community has never seen before and it sets a precedent for programs to come.  It has also laid a foundation within this community to display the level of commitment OMHN has for the health of its residents.  This program is an asset to both Van Buren and Searcy counties because it provides rural residents with access to much needed medical care and sets in place a series of events that can protect them from many chronic diseases.
