The Searcy Co. Tobacco Prevention project started in 2005 with the intention to reduce the use of tobacco. Through presentations, media, and coalition building there have been positive strides to reach goals such as: Creating Tobacco Free Environments, Reducing Youth Access to Tobacco, Decreasing Advertising and Promotion of Tobacco, and Promoting Quitting. The Searcy Co. Tobacco Prevention theme is, “Raising the Bar for Smoke Free Homes and Cars.”
Our mission of the Breathe Easy Coalition is to achieve a tobacco free community and to reduce the health and economic consequences attributable to tobacco at the state and community level.
